Take A Child Outside (TACO) week is a national program designed to encourage children and adults to spend time together outdoors. At Camp Kum-Ba-Yah@Cosby Woods we support this effort by offering free programming for children of all ages the third week in September. Our 44 acres of forest located in the heart of Lynchburg makes it easy for families to disconnect from their daily buzz and reconnect with each other and the simple joys of playing outdoors. Children may join us for one day this week or every day this week and enjoy activities they can take home to become regular practice. Stay tuned for a detailed schedule of the week.

Join the educators from Lynchburg Water Resources in a competition of Olympic proportions. Each family will “compete” in water-based events to investigate the diverse and unique properties of water.
