1:00 pm Farm Tour at Restoration Acres Farm on Cottontown Rd in Forest, VA.

Young farmers Matt and Rachel will open their farm to FILA. We will see chickens and pigs and walk around their property. Children will love seeing the animals and adults will enjoy learning about the ecological farm practices that are so important to Matt and Rachel. Eggs, chicken and pork products will be available to purchase. Please bring cash or credit card if you are interested in making a purchase.

The mission of this family nature club is to help families in Lynchburg expose their children to the wonderful benefits of the outdoors. And, to meet other like-minded families. FILA events are scheduled monthly, open to all ages and typically free unless there is a cost associated with a partnering organization. Events may include hikes, canoeing, campfire cookouts, nature scavenger hunts, visiting a local state or national park, camping, etc.
